Focused support in a safe, homely environment
Birchwood House is a small, calm residential home providing a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with individual and complex needs. The home offers a highly personalised approach, enabling focused, consistent care tailored to each young person.
The setting is designed to promote stability, routine and emotional wellbeing, offering a nurturing and homely space where young people are supported to feel safe, respected and settled. Through a relationship-based approach, young people are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and positive relationships.

Birchwood House is staffed by a dedicated and experienced team who work closely with young people to understand their needs, preferences and goals. Support is delivered through individualised care planning, key-working and clear, consistent routines.
The home works collaboratively with families, social workers, education providers and other professionals to ensure care remains responsive and appropriate. Young people are supported with their emotional wellbeing, health, education and daily living skills, with opportunities for meaningful activities and the development of life skills that support long-term progress.
