Protecting children. Promoting safety. Acting responsibly

Safeguarding

Safeguarding is central to everything we do at Prospera Group. We are committed to protecting children and young people from harm and promoting their welfare within safe, stable and well-managed environments.

  • We recognise that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. All staff are expected to act in the best interests of children and young people at all times, working in line with legislation, statutory guidance and recognised best practice.
  • Our safeguarding approach is underpinned by clear policies, procedures and robust systems that support the identification, reporting and management of concerns. Staff receive appropriate training and supervision to ensure they understand their responsibilities, recognise signs of harm and know how to respond appropriately.
  • We work closely with placing authorities, social workers, education providers, health professionals and other relevant agencies to ensure safeguarding concerns are shared promptly and managed effectively. Open communication and professional collaboration are key to maintaining safe and responsive care.
  • Prospera Group promotes a culture of transparency, accountability and reflective practice. Safeguarding arrangements are subject to regular review, oversight and quality assurance to ensure they remain effective and responsive to the needs of children and young people.
  • Our commitment is to create environments where children and young people feel safe, listened to and supported, and where safeguarding practice is embedded into everyday care.
